Synopsis: Old-fashioned determination clashes with the power of the almighty dollar as a ninety-year old grandmother rallies against the influence of big money over American elections while preparing to make a landmark run for the U.S. Senate. Doris "Granny D" Haddock has had her fill of American politics, and rather than standing by and making idle complaints she has decided to craft a campaign centered on the concept of government by the people, and for the people. Though some politicians in the Washington Beltway admire her gusto, others view Haddock's campaign as a sizable threat.
