Synopsis: A British mine clearance expert runs afoul of the Taliban government while working in Afghanistan in this thriller starring Shaun Dooley (Eden Lake, The Red Riding Trilogy). Kandahar, Afghanistan: 1999. Decades of warfare have left the Afghani desert littered with landmines. The Taliban is in power, and ex-British Army officer Richard Lee (Dooley) is digging for mines under the scorching hot sun when he incurs the wrath of corrupt local police chief Ashiq Khan (Rasheed Naz). As a result, Lee is labeled an infidel and marked for death. Now his only hope for escape is to cross the border into Pakistan.
